It was a great pleasure and honor to interview Jaee Logan an American producer, composer multi instrumentalist, vocalists, songwriter and singer, who spoke to us about himself on our pages.

What do you want to tell us about your latest album, "Sun Rider"?

«Well, the "Sun Rider" is a great cosmic experience. It's about love and life. It’s a journey around the universe. So, when you listen to the album, you get the inclination that you're riding through existence and it's a brilliant voyage of love.»

Is there a story that you want to tell us about your last album?

«Yes. While I was composing the "Sun Rider", I got into a spiritual development where as I was able to write most of that album in one week. The music just came to me. It just came to me like a dream. I truly feel as though as when I wrote this record, it was given to me from the heavens.»

What do you think of the Talent Shows, are only the television programs enough to discover the new talents?

«Absolutely not. Talent shows can only capture the talent that is presented to them. There are so many people out there in the whole world, in the universe, that are so very talented but they don’t get a chance to be presented. So, talent shows are very good but they don’t capture not even 10%; of all the talented people on this planet.»

From what do you understand that an artist has the talent?

«Well, what I look for is the “It factor”. Sometimes, you know. Talent is one thing but the “It factor” will take you much further than if you just have the talent. So, if you see a glow, a glow around the artist that you’re looking at. You will know if they have what “It” takes to be successful. Being an instrumentalist, being a vocalist, being a songwriter, and musician; that is a piece of it yet then you have to have that extra little thing; that little shine, that little feeling and that vibe. Along these lines, I search for the vibe. I search for the Glow.»

Can the views on Youtube tell us the talent of an artist?

«No. The perspectives on Youtube can demonstrate to you the face plate of an artist. So, you can see the outside of the artist however; you really, really have to investigate to see how talented they are. You don't know whether that is another person's thought that’s being utilized or if that is the artist idea. You have to know the difference between is that really you or is that someone’s vision of you? Sometimes artists are made to be Youtube artists and sometimes it’s natural and you want someone that is natural.»

On your website I read: “Always start your day off by saying good morning to someone and make a brighter day!" Do you want to tell us to live in a positive way?

«Precisely, yes. If you exchange positivity, you will receive positivity. In the event that you begin your day away from work emphatically, you will end your day no doubt decidedly. Start off right then you will end up right. Yes, that is exactly what I want to convey. Be positive about everything you do in life.»

What makes you happier, the success of one of your albums or the success of an artist that you produced?

«It satisfies me mostly when I see the success of an artist that I produced because I was able to work with the artist and help carry them along the way for success. So, when they are successful, I still feel that I am successful. It makes me exceptionally happy when I see someone trying really hard to be successful. So, I would say to see the artist be successful makes me happiest.»

What is the personal quality that your collaborator must have without whom he could not work with you?

«I would say that you must have persistence. If, you not persistent and if you don’t believe that is a problem. Believability; you have to believe in yourself. That’s what makes me want to work with a person. I can't influence you to have faith in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself first then I can’t believe in you.»

What are your future plans and what are you working on now?

«At the present time, I'm chipping away at two or three ventures. I’m working on my new album “Jupiter’s Rising “which I hope to be releasing soon in the following coming couple of months. I would love to visit the world with the "Sun Rider" album and "Jupiter's Rising", and perform the world over before a live audience. Moreover, I am working with Jeremiah S. Moore (Bassist) and John Moore III (Keyboardist) also known as The Moore Twins. I’m producing The Moore Twins first full album. Last year, I produced their last single “Two Occasions” which did very well. Amid the previous couple of months, we have been working together diligently creating new music. I'm exceptionally proud of The Moore Twins as I am watching them evolve as musicians. It makes me exceptionally happy to know that I am playing a significant role in the growth of their artistry. I would prefer not to give away excessively yet there will be a few astonishments on this project and there are some household named artists that are also included on the album and I can state that their album will be releasing in the next coming months prior to "Jupiter’s Rising".»

I like cooking and so I ask you if you were a dish, what dish would you be, why?

«I would be breakfast and I would be eggs and pancakes LOL. The motivation behind why is that the first thing you eat in the morning makes your day. If, you eat a healthy breakfast then you will have a wonderful day with great energy.»

Cosa vuoi dirci del tuo ultimo album, Sun Rider?

«Beh, "Sun Rider" è una grande esperienza cosmica. È sull’amore e la vita. È un viaggio alla scoperta dell’universo. Per questo, quando si ascolta l’album, si avverte la voglia di viaggiare lungo l’esistenza ed è un magnifico viaggio d’amore.»

C'è un aneddoto che vuoi raccontarci circa il tuo album?

«Sì. Mentre ero alle prese con "Sun Rider", sono entrato in una dimensione di sviluppo spirituale durante la quale sono riuscito a comporre gran parte dell’album in una settimana. È la musica ad essere arrivata da me. È arrivata da me come un sogno. Ho come avuto la sensazione che, quando ho registrato l’album, si trattasse di un’offerta dal cielo (traduzione libera che mantiene il senso).»

Cosa ne pensi dei Talent Shows, bastano solo i programmi televisivi per scoprire i nuovi talenti?

«Assolutamente no. I talent show sono in grado di scovare solo il talento di chi gli si presenta davanti. Ci sono così tante persone là fuori nel mondo, nell’universo che sono piene di talento ma che non hanno la possibilità di mettersi in mostra. Per questo motivo, i talent show sono un valido strumento ma non captano neanche il 10% di tutte le persone dotate di talento su questo pianeta.»

Da cosa capisci che un artista ha il talento?

«Beh, ciò che cerco è l’“it factor”. Sai, a volte il talento è una cosa ma l’“it factor” ti porterà molto più in là del solo talento. Quindi, se vedi un certo bagliore, un bagliore attorno all’artista che stai guardando, capisci se ha quell’“it” che serve per avere successo. Essere uno strumentista, un cantante, un cantautore e musicista… tutto ciò è parte del talento ma serve ancora quel piccolo particolare in più, quel luccichio, quel feeling/coinvolgimento, quella sensazione. In questo senso, cerco quella vibrazione, cerco quel bagliore.»

Le visualizzazioni su Youtube possono dirci il talento di un artista?

«No. Le visualizzazioni su Youtube possono mostrare solo l’involucro di un artista. Quindi, riesci a vedere la parte esterna dell’artista. Ad ogni modo, hai bisogno di andare più a fondo per vedere quanto talento hanno. Non sai se quello è il pensiero di un’altra persona ad esser stato utilizzato o se è l’idea dell’artista. Devi conoscere la differenza tra “quello che sei tu o la visione che qualcun altro ha di te?” A volte gli artisti sono creati per essere artisti di Youtube e a volte sono naturali e si cerca qualcuno che sia naturale.»

Sul tuo sito web ho letto: "Inizia sempre la giornata dicendo buongiorno a qualcuno e trscorrerai una bella giornata!" Vuoi dirci di vivere in modo positivo?

«Sì, esatto. Se trasmetti positività, riceverai positività. Nel caso in cui cominci la giornata di lavoro con la giusta carica, finirai la tua giornata senz’altro in modo deciso. Comincia nel modo giusto e finirai nel modo giusto. Sì, è proprio quello che voglio trasmettere. Essere positivi su tutto ciò che si fa nella vita.»

Cosa ti rende più felice, il successo di uno dei tuoi album o il successo di un artista che hai prodotto?

«Sono soddisfatto soprattutto quando vedo il successo di un artista che ho prodotto perché ero in grado di lavorare con l'artista e di aiutare a portarlo lungo la strada per il successo. Così, quando hanno successo, sento di averlo anche io. Mi rende particolarmente felice quando vedo qualcuno che ce la mette davvero tutta per avere successo. Quindi, direi che vedere l'artista avere successo mi rende più felice.»

Qual è la qualità personale che il tuo collaboratore deve avere senza la quale non potrebbe lavorare con te?

«Direi che bisogna avere perseveranza. Se non perseveri e non ci credi c’è un problema. Credibilità, devi credere in te stesso. È ciò che mi fa venir voglia di lavorare con qualcuno. Non posso convincerti ad avere fiducia in te stesso. Se non credi in te prima, allora io non posso credere in te.»

Quali sono i tuoi progetti futuri e su cosa stai lavorando ora?

«Al momento, mi sto dedicando a un paio di iniziative. Sto lavorando sul mio nuovo album “Jupiter’s Rising” che spero di lanciare presto nel giro di un paio di mesi. Mi piacerebbe visitare il mondo con l’album “Sun Rider” e “Jupiter’s Rising” e esibirmi per il mondo davanti al pubblico. Inoltre, sto lavorando con Jeremiah S. Moore (bassista) and John Moore III (tastierista) conosciuti come The Moore Twins (i gemelli Moore). Sono alle prese con la produzione del primo album completo dei The Moore Twins. L’anno scorso, ho prodotto il loro ultimo singolo “Two Occasions” che è andato molto bene. Nell’ultimo paio di mesi, abbiamo lavorato insieme diligentemente nella creazione di nuova musica. Sono eccezionalmente fiero dei The More Twins mentre vedo come si evolvono come musicisti. Mi rende particolarmente felice sapere che sto ricoprendo un ruolo significativo nella crescita del loro talento. Preferirei non rivelare troppo ancora ma ci sarà qualche sorpresa su questo progetto e ci sono alcuni artisti conosciuti che sono inclusi nell’album e posso affermare che il loro album verrà lanciato nei prossimi mesi, prima di “Jupiter’s Rising”.»

Mi piace cucinare e quindi ti chiedo se fossi un piatto, quale piatto vorresti essere, perché?

«Sarei la colazione e sarei uova e pancake (risata). Il motivo è che si tratta del primo pasto che mette in moto la giornata. Se si fa una colazione sana, allora si avrà una giornata meravigliosa piena di energia. »
